Drum Corps Hype FOREVER.

Hey guys! So, we had color guard rehearsal today, and it was awesome (even though we didn't run as long as we usually do!!!). However, it was also our "Dad's" last day! It's a suuper sad thing, but also very exciting because he's going to be marching in the Cavaliers Drum Corps this summer! After our wonderful pet-filled rehearsal (he brought his two dogs and one cat so some of the girls could watch them over the summer while he's on tour) we decided to go to McDonalds and party it up as a going away fun thing. Well, at McDonalds everyone ate, and pretty much went home around maybe 8:00. I'm obviously posting this pretty late... IT WAS AMAZING. He told us stories about his previous camp experiences, and talked about fun things happening in the future, and who we should know if we're going to march (I'm planning to!!) and everything else. It was just really uplifting and encouraging to hear about how awesome it is, and it just added fuel to an already raging fire within me that is my passion for color/winter guard. I love it, and I want to do it forever. And ever. Kthanks.

Sorry it was short, but I do need to sleep at some point so that I can keep dreaming about being in Phantom Regiment (my fav fav fav corps). Love all of you bunches! Peaceoff! BOOP!

An Overdue Update!

I offer my dearest apologies!!

Any Listener fans out there? I think they're pretty amazing. ANYWHOO, I'm sorry about the abscence. My adventures have heightened since we last blogged, and I'd like to tell you about them, if you're around. So here we go.

Well, where to start. I guess guard. I made the color guard, and we've had some rehearsals!! I am so extremely excited about that. I'm going to try out for weapon line (which is spinning rifles and sabres if you didn't know) and I'll let you guys know how that goes. Another fun thing, I got a job. It's not full time, and I don't even have a set schedule, it's just whenever they need me. I'm working at a daycare, and actually it's the one my siblings attend. It's a great job, and it's definitely teaching me patience. You know how your teachers always told you that the kids taught them as much as they taught the kids? That is entirely true. Any more adventures? Of course!

Here's the most important adventure, that I am actually just now embarking on. I'm scared, to be honest. Terrified. But also I am very excited and honored. God is doing big things in my life. Well, big things for me. I don't think that the things I do will affect a generation, or a nation, or a state, or a county, or a town. But who knows. So, my step dad doesn't know Christ. He believes, as far as I know, that no one knows anything for sure, and if he told himself that he knew something for sure (such as Jesus Christ died for my sins) he would be lying to himself. Obviously, I don't think the same way. And normally he (my step dad) wouldn't want to talk to me at all, about anything. However, yesterday, he told me that if I could put my own feelings aside and not get all defensive, he would enjoy a conversation about religion and belief and all of that. WOAH. Right? So I told him to give me a few days, because I didn't know what else to say! So if you're reading this, be praying for me please! That God would give me the words to say to him, that his heart would be soft, that it would not be my words but God's words simply delivered through me.

Okay guys, this wasn't as long as I wanted it to be, but I really have to go do some homework (which is all of my school work right now!) and get it done!! Be praying for that too, some self dicipline to help me stay on task.

Thanks so much! Don't forget to check Toby Turner out. He's still my favorite YouTuber. :D
