Drum Corps Hype FOREVER.

Hey guys! So, we had color guard rehearsal today, and it was awesome (even though we didn't run as long as we usually do!!!). However, it was also our "Dad's" last day! It's a suuper sad thing, but also very exciting because he's going to be marching in the Cavaliers Drum Corps this summer! After our wonderful pet-filled rehearsal (he brought his two dogs and one cat so some of the girls could watch them over the summer while he's on tour) we decided to go to McDonalds and party it up as a going away fun thing. Well, at McDonalds everyone ate, and pretty much went home around maybe 8:00. I'm obviously posting this pretty late... IT WAS AMAZING. He told us stories about his previous camp experiences, and talked about fun things happening in the future, and who we should know if we're going to march (I'm planning to!!) and everything else. It was just really uplifting and encouraging to hear about how awesome it is, and it just added fuel to an already raging fire within me that is my passion for color/winter guard. I love it, and I want to do it forever. And ever. Kthanks.

Sorry it was short, but I do need to sleep at some point so that I can keep dreaming about being in Phantom Regiment (my fav fav fav corps). Love all of you bunches! Peaceoff! BOOP!

An Overdue Update!

I offer my dearest apologies!!

Any Listener fans out there? I think they're pretty amazing. ANYWHOO, I'm sorry about the abscence. My adventures have heightened since we last blogged, and I'd like to tell you about them, if you're around. So here we go.

Well, where to start. I guess guard. I made the color guard, and we've had some rehearsals!! I am so extremely excited about that. I'm going to try out for weapon line (which is spinning rifles and sabres if you didn't know) and I'll let you guys know how that goes. Another fun thing, I got a job. It's not full time, and I don't even have a set schedule, it's just whenever they need me. I'm working at a daycare, and actually it's the one my siblings attend. It's a great job, and it's definitely teaching me patience. You know how your teachers always told you that the kids taught them as much as they taught the kids? That is entirely true. Any more adventures? Of course!

Here's the most important adventure, that I am actually just now embarking on. I'm scared, to be honest. Terrified. But also I am very excited and honored. God is doing big things in my life. Well, big things for me. I don't think that the things I do will affect a generation, or a nation, or a state, or a county, or a town. But who knows. So, my step dad doesn't know Christ. He believes, as far as I know, that no one knows anything for sure, and if he told himself that he knew something for sure (such as Jesus Christ died for my sins) he would be lying to himself. Obviously, I don't think the same way. And normally he (my step dad) wouldn't want to talk to me at all, about anything. However, yesterday, he told me that if I could put my own feelings aside and not get all defensive, he would enjoy a conversation about religion and belief and all of that. WOAH. Right? So I told him to give me a few days, because I didn't know what else to say! So if you're reading this, be praying for me please! That God would give me the words to say to him, that his heart would be soft, that it would not be my words but God's words simply delivered through me.

Okay guys, this wasn't as long as I wanted it to be, but I really have to go do some homework (which is all of my school work right now!) and get it done!! Be praying for that too, some self dicipline to help me stay on task.

Thanks so much! Don't forget to check Toby Turner out. He's still my favorite YouTuber. :D

Some Thoughts! ♥

How are you doing?

Okay, so Blogger tells me that people actually view my page! Is that true? Comment if it is. Also, what should I call you? PewDiePie (YouTube gamer/vlogger/star) has his bros and his broarmy... CutiePieMarzia (beautiful Italian girlfriend of PewDiePie (aka Felix)) has her marzipans... Toby Turner (also a YouTuber, aka Tobuscus) has his AUDIENCE... what do I have? What's that? Nothing?! Haha. That's true. Hmm... Any ideas? Leave a comment... it will be very appreciated... especially because it will prove that I'm not talking to myself.

Anyway!

So here are some thoughts that I just can't help but share: I'm sorry I havent' posted in a while. If I didn't tell you, I got my permit (yay!) and have had some more lame "adventures" that I'm sure you don't want to hear about! I might go to KENYA this summer on a mission trip with Maisha International (awesome, you should click that and check it out) for ten days! Aussi, j'aime le français. J'apprends le français à l'école, et il est amusant! I don't know if that is correct or not... if you speak French, lemme know! Hm. I'll show you what I know!

Did I just butcher that language?! Hope not. I really do enjoy learning it, though it takes longer than I would like it to....

Au revoir!

So long for now... I look forward to hearing from you (hopefully!) and talking to you next time I do an update.... I can't wait to get a Facebook and Twitter again... A demain (maybe)!

Allergies SUCK.

Third Adventure? These adventures are lame.

So, how have you been? How's the family? Oh, good. My nose has recently declared mutiny, and ceases to allow me to breathe comfortably. WHAT THE HECK. It's not even un-comfortably. It's just not at all. I can't breathe! C'mon. Anyway. Check it out. Keystone Writes! has decided to participate in one day without shoes! WHEEW! Here's to change!

Here's one more thing: Remember how I told you guys I was going to get my permit last Wednesday? Well that didn't happen. My mom got caught up at work, so that was moved to THIS Wednesday. Let's be hopeful!

Also, Jesus rocks my socks.

One Day Without Shoes!

It's coming up, people! Get on board! Learn more and skip reading my spiel here. So, One Day Without Shoes is this great awareness day about kids who need shoes and don't have them. What can we do about this? We can buy TOMS! What does buying shoes have to do with being barefoot for ONE ENTIRE DAY?! Well, TOMS hosts one day without shoes, which is intended to strike up curiosity to innocent, unaware bystanders. These curious bystanders will inquire why a person dressed as elegantly as you are would be walking around without any shoes. You, as clever and witty as you are, will spit out a humbling fact about what children in other places have to deal with because they don't have shoes. Such as HOOKWORMS, which are soil-transmitted parasites that can cause some serious effects (Long-term physical effects include stunted growth, decreased cognitive development, anemia and chronic fatigue.). Anyway, it's a great thing, and YOU should participate.

Thanks for reading!

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I don't know who you are, probably, but I've gotten like 19 views (dream big...) and so thanks. Thanks for reading! Bless your face. If you sneezed while reading this odws  blog, bless you. Peaceoff! Boop!

Second Adventure

Second Adventure... My Anti-adventure?

Random thoughts:

What's an antiventure? Nothing adventurous happened today. BUT, I'm about to start my journey into the No Plot? No Problem! book. I believe that it is intended to help you write a novel (holy crap) in one month (extra spiritual crap). But there is no way that I will write a whole novel in one month, or even one year. I don't even normally write anything! (Excepting this blog, which is only two days old...) Okay, what else? Oh. TOMORROW, I'm going to go take my permit test, and get that, which is fantastic. It's actually not that big of a deal, but still. That will surely be an adventure! Hmm. I got my school work all in order today so that I would know what I need to do tomorrow. That's boring. Why did I just write that? Right. No one sees this anyway. Well.

A specific something or two:

Alright, I saw this thing about going on a shower strike, and it seems like it would be awesome and fantastic and other good words, but it supposedly started on March the 22nd. So... does that mean I can't participate?! I hate it when I see something (such as One Day Without Shoes info... click here to get informed about that!!) and it's too late to join. I want to be a good person, and help people. But the timing is always off it seems like. This year's One Day Without Shoes should be the best yet! Should I create an event (walk, style your sole party, etc.) for that?! If you're reading this, post your opinion in the comments below.

Thanks for reading! Bless your face. If you sneezed while reading this erratic post, bless you. Peaceoff! (Want to know why I always say that? It's because of Toby Turner. Check him out here.)

First Adventure!

First Adventure - Breathing Room

Hello, no one! This is my first post in my one and only very first blog. I really don't think anyone will see this, but that's okay. Mostly, I just made this blog so that Google+ would stop telling me "Hey! You can create your blog by clicking this!! Click me, click me!" What? Okay, okay, maybe it wasn't THAT obnoxious, but it might have well been.

So, my first adventure in about a month and two weeks was today. This was the first time (aside from Spring Break at my dads which was filled with wonderful family) that I was able to not be attached to my mother's hip. Don't get me wrong, I love my mom. It's just CRAZY sometimes. Anyway, my not so extraordinary adventure was getting to walk to the library. My mom is really giving me some length on my leash, since my birthday. Maybe this year won't be so awful after all....

One last thing: I'm starting a new adventure tomorrow. When I went to the library I picked up a new book called No Plot, No Problem! and it's about writing a novel. I am not a novel writer, or a writer at all... But it should be interesting. I might post about it, if it actually goes anywhere.

Thanks for reading! Bless your face. If you sneezed while reading this post, bless you. Peaceoff!
